Rare Rioja Dinner (Houston)

Join the chefs at Guard and Grace Houston for an exquisite five-course dinner paired with celebrated Rioja wines. This "once-in-a-lifetime" experience offers the chance to taste extremely rare library selections from the renowned Rioja producer Bodegas Manzanos. Featured vintages include the 1961, 1964, and 1981, alongside their current 2014 Gran Reserva. These three vintage wines have been meticulously preserved in the caves since their bottling until their release late last year. With only 300-500 bottles of each vintage available worldwide, this is a truly exceptional opportunity.

Join James Beard Award-nominated chef and Chopped Champion Tristen Epps for a six-night only tasting menu experience. Each Thursday and Friday night from July 19th through August 3rd, he’ll present an intimate seven-course dinner in the private mezzanine at Guard & Grace in downtown Houston. Throughout the dinner, Chef Epps will highlight Afro-Caribbean foodways explored through the lens of modern cuisine and Houston’s global influences, showing how ingredients and techniques migrated from Africa though the Caribbean and into to the food we relate to in the American South. Seating is limited to ten guests per night. Cocktails and wine pairings will be available to order in person. Please notify us of any allergy or dietary concerns.
